As part of engagement with the fishing industry, developers and operators should develop a fishing liaison plan that clearly defines who the Company Fishing Liaison Officer (CFLO) and Fishing Industry Representative (FIR) are, what are their respective responsibilities, and how the fishing liaison plan will operate. The development and updating of the fishing liaison plan for each offshore wind farm should be implemented throughout the planning, construction, and subsequent operation phases of the offshore wind farm project.
